A Return to the Bradley Home

04.26.2022 A nice couple came up to us after the slideshow presentation we gave last night at the annual Appanoose County Historical Society meeting and introduced themselves as Robert and Nancy Jones. Mr. Jones told us he is a Vietnam vet and grew up right here in Centerville. They currently live in Palo Alto, CA but happened to be here this week to take care of a house they own here in town. Mr. Jones said he remembers how his dad worked here in this house in the 1940s and he would bring a young Mr. Jones with him to work as a child. Today the Joneses came over for a short visit before heading back to California. You could see the happy nostalgia in Mr. Jones' eyes as he looked around at our home and was so amazed at seeing it as a family home once again.
